Alex, a high schooler, often feels overshadowed by his younger brother Stevie. He struggles to win over his dream girl, remains an outsider with his best friends Abby and James, and is frequently sidelined on the football team. One day, Stevie receives a lucky coin from an enigmatic old man and passes it to Alex, urging him to make a wish.
