In the not-so-distant future, a colossal, unbreakable alien tentacle known as the “Spike” appears, hovering 10,000 miles above Earth, initially causing widespread panic. However, people have since adapted to its presence. When the Spike unexpectedly transports a beekeeper’s hives and a wanderer’s cherished car to a distant location, these two individuals, previously unknown to each other, are compelled to embark on a perilous journey across a transformed yet familiar America to retrieve their belongings.
