After a decade behind bars, Eddie Franks (played by Craig Fairbrass) is determined to lead an honest life. However, his brother Sean (portrayed by George Russo), who is involved in drug trafficking, has different plans. The Garret brothers, Roy and Johnny (acted by Robert Glenister and Tomi May), are pressuring Sean to settle his debt with them, dragging Eddie into the fray. To assist his brother, Eddie is forced to deplete his savings and seek help from his criminal connections. A dramatic upheaval at the family-owned pub sets off a chain of events that escalate into a desperate struggle for survival.
