Everything appears typical for Joseph and Joanne. Joanne is expecting their first child, and their small city home feels comfortable and well-known. However, there’s something unusual about Joseph. He doesn’t appear thrilled about the upcoming baby. His work on a documentary is becoming more erratic. As Joseph finds it harder to keep up with his household responsibilities, his facade starts to crumble. Late at night, when Joanne believes he is working, Joseph roams the streets of Los Angeles, intentionally seeking out risky situations. Joanne is becoming concerned about Joseph’s strange actions, but not as concerned as she ought to be.
