In Los Angeles, two competing gang leaders are also aspiring music producers. When DJ’s gear malfunctions and Lonzo is sidelined by a record producer, they decide to collaborate, necessitating a fragile truce between their gangs. Supported by Gator, a slick drug lord from New Orleans, DJ and Lonzo venture into drug dealing, turning their gangs into distributors. Just as their financial situation begins to improve, a betrayal by one of Gator’s associates sparks a violent conflict between members of DJ and Lonzo’s gangs.
