Once a prominent figure in the counterculture scene, June E. Leigh has chosen to live in isolation in her South Bronx apartment during the tumultuous Summer of Sam in 1977. However, her secluded world starts to fall apart when an unknown assailant begins to prey on her vulnerabilities.
