Ned Giles, a budding photojournalist, becomes part of the 1932 Great Apache Expedition, which aims to locate a young boy abducted by fierce Apaches. The boy is the child of a prosperous Mexican landowner. As Ned embarks on this unforeseen and dangerous adventure across challenging landscapes, the mission hinges on trading a captured Apache girl for the kidnapped child.
