In a fiercely contested national assembly election, Jong-chan secures his party’s nomination. He and his wife, Yeon-hong, are deeply invested in the campaign. When their teenage daughter, Min-jin, vanishes, Jong-chan persuades Yeon-hong to keep it under wraps to avoid bad press. As the election looms, Yeon-hong takes it upon herself to find Min-jin, only to unravel a tangled web of conspiracies, secrets, and deceit linked to her daughter’s disappearance.
