The film centers on Jed King (Alan Powell), a hopeful singer-songwriter striving to make a name for himself while trying to step out from under the shadow of his famous father, a legendary figure in country music. When Jed reluctantly agrees to perform at a vineyard’s harvest festival, he becomes enamored with Rose (Ali Faulkner), the daughter of the vineyard owner, sparking a swift romance. After they marry, Jed pens “The Song” for Rose, which catapults him to fame. However, as he is swept into the limelight and faces the allure of fellow musician Shelby Bale (Caitlin Nicol-Thomas), Jed’s personal and marital life begins to unravel.
