Seyi, a 24-year-old Nigerian-American, is employed on Wall Street. Driven by a strong desire to succeed, fueled by his feelings of being an outsider due to his race and social class, he engages in insider trading, a crime that ultimately leads to the collapse of his life. As his situation deteriorates, Seyi is compelled to face the challenges of his strained relationship with his sick father, his romantic involvement with his affluent white girlfriend, and the complexities of his racial and immigrant identity, with his very soul hanging in the balance.
