When Ida arrives at her sister Alison’s place with mascara-streaked cheeks, Alison, eager for a break from her motherly responsibilities, negotiates a night off. The sisters venture to a wine bar on the Eastside, where they encounter Will and Clark, who is newly divorced and dressed in sweatpants. As they share slightly tipsy conversations about failed marriages and other grown-up issues, the group decides to embrace the night. They journey from downtown lofts to cannabis shops, indulge in midnight swims, and return, all in a spirited attempt to demonstrate that they can still enjoy themselves.
