Pekka Malmikunnas, a man who has lost everything and is now broke, has managed to convince his family that he still holds the position of CEO at a major IT firm. Keeping up this charade to preserve his dignity has essentially become a full-time occupation for him. When his parents make an unexpected visit, Pekka organizes an extravagant family dinner to eliminate any suspicions. The event goes well until his god-daughter is hit by a car. The careless driver becomes a common adversary for the family. Although the driver attempts to make amends, the situation escalates, leading Pekka to confront him physically.
