Based on Diana Lopez’s novel “Choke,” the story follows Taryn, who experiences a surge in popularity when a captivating new student at school befriends her and introduces her to the Choking Game, dubbing them “breath sisters.” Taryn conceals this risky activity from her attentive mother, close friend, and teachers, viewing it as a method to enhance self-discipline and achieve a quick thrill.
