Samantha, who was once left heartbroken by her high school love, Jake, during the Snowcoming event, comes back to her hometown to celebrate her father’s retirement from his role as a football coach. Upon her return, she encounters Jake, who has since become a well-known quarterback. Noticing that the library is in need of renovations, Samantha enlists Jake’s help, suggesting he leverage his fame to attract people to a “Tailgate at the Library” fundraising event.
