Set in New York during the 1970s, “Vinyl” takes viewers on a journey through the chaotic music industry, marked by rampant sex and drug use, as punk, disco, and hip-hop begin to emerge. The story unfolds from the perspective of Richie Finestra, a record label president, who is on a mission to rescue his company and redeem himself, all while trying not to ruin the lives of those around him.
