A fast-talking amnesiac is given an opportunity to improve his life, provided he can transport an enigmatic parcel through a desolate, post-apocalyptic landscape. Accompanied by a fierce car thief armed with an axe, he must confront brutal marauders in destructive vehicles and other perils of the open highway, such as a maniacal clown piloting a disturbingly recognizable ice cream truck.
