“The Secret World of Alex Mack” is an American TV series that aired on Nickelodeon from October 8, 1994, to January 15, 1998, taking over the SNICK lineup slot previously held by “Clarissa Explains It All.” The show was also broadcast on YTV in Canada and NHK in Japan, and became a beloved part of the children’s weekday programming on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation throughout the mid-to-late 1990s. In 2003, reruns were shown on The N, but they were soon replaced. The series was produced by Thomas Lynch and John Lynch of Lynch Entertainment, in collaboration with RHI Entertainment, Hallmark Entertainment, and Nickelodeon Productions, and was co-created by Tom Lynch and Ken Lipman. For its home video distribution, it was released under the Hallmark Home Entertainment label, marking it as the first Nickelodeon series not distributed by Paramount Home Video or Sony Wonder.
