“The Real Hustle” is a television series produced by the BBC and created by Objective Productions, with writing credits to Alexis Conran and Paul Wilson. The program showcases a variety of confidence tricks, magic illusions, distraction scams, and proposition bets, all executed on unsuspecting members of the public by Conran, Wilson, and the “sexy swindler” Jessica-Jane Clement. Starting from the 10th series, titled “New Recruits,” Jazz Lintott and Polly Parsons joined the team of hustlers.

Throughout the series, it is emphasized that all individuals targeted by the scams are genuinely deceived, and any money they lose is reimbursed after filming concludes. According to the BBC’s website, the unsuspecting participants, or “marks,” are unaware they are being conned. They are either set up by friends and family or believe they are participating in a different television program.

After the 11th series ended, host Alexis Conran tweeted that there were “no plans for season 12,” indicating that the show was unlikely to continue.
