Dr. Alex Hoffman, a physicist from America living abroad, develops an artificial intelligence system designed to capitalize on fear within the financial markets, executing trades with incredible speed to generate substantial profits. However, on the system’s launch day, Alex’s mental stability is thrown into turmoil when he is brutally assaulted at his residence by an intruder familiar with his security codes.
