ReGenesis is a Canadian TV series created by The Movie Network and Movie Central alongside Shaftesbury Films. Spanning four seasons, the show centers on the scientists at NorBAC, a fictional lab situated in Toronto. This organization tackles scientific challenges like bio-terrorism, enigmatic diseases, and drastic environmental shifts across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. Led by David Sandström, the chief scientist and molecular biologist, the series frequently delves into current social, political, and ethical issues linked to the scientific topics explored.

Initially aired on The Movie Network and Movie Central, the series was later rebroadcast on Global and Showcase in Canada. Internationally, it was available on FX in the UK, The Science Channel, Halogen TV, and in syndication and CW Plus in the U.S., as well as FX Latin America in Mexico, and through various European and Asian broadcasters.
