“Las Vegas” is a television series that aired on NBC from September 22, 2003, to February 15, 2008. The narrative revolves around a group of employees at the fictional Montecito Resort & Casino, tackling various challenges in their work environment, from managing valet services and restaurants to ensuring casino security. Initially, the show was broadcast on Monday nights, but NBC later shifted it to Friday nights, first at 9 PM Eastern/8 PM Central, and subsequently to 10 PM Eastern/9 PM Central. After a lengthy run of back-to-back episodes on weekdays, the series ended its syndication in the U.S. in July 2013, eventually being relegated to a 4 AM slot before being completely removed from TNT’s schedule.

The storyline originally focused on Ed Deline, a disciplined former CIA operative who transitioned from Head of Security to President of Operations at the Montecito, overseeing the casino’s daily functions. After Ed’s exit in Season 5, Danny McCoy, a former Marine and Ed’s protégé, assumed the role of President of Operations. The series concluded unexpectedly with a cliffhanger when NBC decided to cancel “Las Vegas” during the break following its fifth season.
