“Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil” is an animated TV series, recognized with an Emmy nomination, created by animator Sandro Corsaro. The show follows a young boy named Clarence “Kick” Buttowski, who dreams of becoming the world’s top daredevil. It holds the distinction of being the fourth original series on Disney XD and the channel’s first animated series. The series debuted on February 13, 2010, with two episodes airing on its premiere day, and later launched on Disney Channel Asia on May 28, 2010. Each episode consists of two 11-minute segments and is produced using Toon Boom Animation software, incorporating some 3D animation elements. The series is executive-produced and directed by Chris Savino and Sandro Corsaro, drawing inspiration from Corsaro’s own childhood experiences in Stoneham, Massachusetts.
