“Jake and the Fatman” is a TV crime drama featuring William Conrad in the role of prosecutor J. L. “Fatman” McCabe, alongside Joe Penny as the investigator Jake Styles. This series aired on CBS for five seasons, spanning from 1987 to 1992. It also inspired the spin-off series “Diagnosis: Murder.”
