As the sun rises on April 25, 1915, ANZAC soldiers launch their assault on the shores of the Gallipoli peninsula. Amidst the confusion of the pre-dawn landing, Tolly, Bevan, and their comrades fight to secure a fragile position on the perilous hills and deep gullies. Over the following eight months, they adapt to the harsh realities of survival on the peninsula. By the time they are finally evacuated, they have not only mastered the art of warfare but also discovered what it means to come of age amidst the horrors of battle.
