“Fanboy & Chum Chum” is a CGI animated TV show from the United States, developed by Eric Robles for Nickelodeon. The series is an expansion of “Fanboy,” an animated short film Robles created for Nickelodeon and Frederator Studios, which aired on August 14, 2008, as part of Random! Cartoons. The debut episode attracted an audience of 5.8 million, while the following episode was viewed by 5.4 million people. The show’s theme song was composed by Brad Joseph Breeck and performed by the experimental punk group The Mae Shi. Nickelodeon did not announce a third season during their 2013-2014 season presentation.
