“Falling Skies” begins in the tumultuous period following an alien assault that has rendered much of the planet powerless. Six months after the first wave of the invasion, the remaining survivors have gathered on the outskirts of major urban areas to undertake the challenging mission of resistance. Every day presents a struggle for survival as these civilian fighters strive to safeguard those under their protection while simultaneously launching a guerrilla campaign against the alien occupiers.
