
“Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” is an animated television series developed by Walt Disney Television Animation. Conceived by Tad Stones and Alan Zaslove, the show reimagines the classic Disney duo, Chip ‘n’ Dale, in a fresh context. It debuted on the Disney Channel on March 4, 1989, following a preview episode that was broadcast on August 27, 1988. The series kicked off with a two-hour movie special titled “Rescue Rangers: To the Rescue,” which was subsequently divided into five segments for its weekday schedule. The series concluded on November 19, 1990.
On September 18, 1989, the show began airing in national syndication. Between 1998 and 1999, reruns were included in the Disney Afternoon programming block.
