The story follows Anne Boonchuy, a 13-year-old with a self-absorbed nature, who finds herself magically whisked away to Amphibia, an imaginary swampy land inhabited by frog-like beings. With the assistance of Sprig, an enthusiastic young frog, Anne embarks on a journey to become a hero and experiences her first genuine friendship.
