High school student Juri takes her own life by jumping to her death. After this tragic event, Juri’s spirit roams around familiar places like her home, school, and neighborhood. She experiences a deep sense of isolation because no one can perceive her presence. She attempts to communicate with people she encounters, including her mother and classmates, but they do not acknowledge her. During this time, Juri encounters a terrifying creature she had never seen before her death, which she dubs the “Bug Man.” This sinister entity preys on vulnerable minds, enticing them towards suicide. One day, as Juri is wandering the streets, she meets a girl who can actually see her. Juri names this girl Ringo-chan, and they enjoy playing together at the park. However, their joyful time is short-lived. Upon returning from the park, Juri notices Ringo-chan’s mother looking distressed, with the ominous Bug Man lurking behind her.
