In the lush surroundings of Borneo, close to the rainforest, Kéria saves a young orangutan at the palm oil plantation where her father is employed. Her cousin, Selaï, arrives to stay with them, escaping the strife between his native community and the logging corporations. Together, Kéria, Selaï, and the orangutan, now called Oshi, must battle to protect their forest from devastation.
