In the first part of this film, set centuries in the past, we witness the journey of an elderly man who is granted eternal life and selected to bring joy to children worldwide by delivering toys. The latter half transitions to contemporary times, where Patch, the chief elf, decides to venture out independently. He ends up partnering with a malevolent toy producer who aims to dominate the industry and do away with Santa Claus.
