Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) was a self-taught, revolutionary sculptor and a man of the people, widely regarded as the most outstanding artist of his time. At the age of 42, he encounters Camille Claudel, a young woman eager to work as his assistant. Rodin soon recognizes her exceptional talent, considering her his most capable student and treating her as an equal in the realm of artistic creation.
