In New York, trapper Tom Dobb is reluctantly drawn into the American Revolution when his son, Ned, is forcibly recruited into the military by the nefarious Sergeant Major Peasy. Determined to locate his son, Tom embarks on a journey that ultimately leads him to embrace the cause of colonial independence.
