The Ancient Romans held the belief that a person’s soul departed their body with their final breath, which was thought to possess the ability to heal illnesses and extend life. In the 1930s, Dr. Robert Kaminsky dedicated his career to discovering how to tap into the power of this last breath. Susan Jordan, the owner of a local novelty store, has an antique box in her collection that once belonged to Dr. Kaminsky. This box catches the attention of two men: Raif Collins, who hopes its contents can save his ailing sister, and Alex Poe, whose intentions are more enigmatic.
