This action-packed film unfolds in a secluded, densely wooded region of Northern California, where marijuana cultivators dominate entire communities through intimidation and their illicit wealth. The story follows a brave New York police officer determined to liberate one such community from the oppressive rule of these drug growers. The plot kicks off with a surveyor guiding the town’s corrupt sheriff to a newly discovered marijuana patch. However, the surveyor is killed before reaching the site. A young boy named Joshua witnesses the murder and attempts to alert his parents, but the perpetrators kill his family and push him off a cliff. Concerned by the lack of communication from her family, Joshua’s aunt becomes suspicious and enlists the help of her former lover, NY cop Joe Dillon, to investigate. The local sheriff is unhappy with Dillon’s involvement and warns him to back off. Ignoring the warning, Dillon presses on, setting the stage for intense action.
