Skilled technician Nigel and his daughter Annie MacIntyre, who is officially her producer, are the only individuals that the sophisticated Prudence McCoy allows to be involved in her long-standing household tips show, which has been in her family for three generations. However, the television network is acquired by a wealthy mogul, who dispatches his son, Michael Merchant, to revamp the show. He is aided by studio executive Jack Jameson, who happens to be Prue’s former partner. Their plans include a complete makeover and, even more disruptively, the addition of co-host Angelica Adams, a youthful bikini program presenter who admires ‘motherly’ Prue. In response, Prue devises an equally bold strategy.
