In 1962, at Yomama Bay, Japanese military forces eliminate another massive kaiju. Professor Hiro Honda manages to save the creature’s offspring, securing a mysterious red egg and transporting it to the safety of Cincinnati, Ohio. Upon the jet’s arrival, an unfortunate mishap causes the egg to be flushed down the toilet, leading it to vanish into the Ohio River. The egg is soon discovered by Dr. Blowheart and his assistant, Dr. Shirley Yujest, after being dislodged by nuclear testing. They encounter Professor Honda, who reveals that the egg harbors a living Notzillasaurus Partiontilldon. He warns them that the creature will stay small unless it comes into contact with alcohol, which would cause it to grow exponentially and threaten the nearest city.
