Popular TV host and late-night radio presenter Sun-Young is about to host her last radio show before she plans to take her sick daughter to the United States the next morning. During the broadcast, Sun-Young receives a shocking text message. Meanwhile, at her apartment, her ailing daughter is under the care of Sun-Young’s sister, Ah-Young. Suddenly, a man named Dong-Su breaks into the apartment wielding a large wrench. He knocks Ah-Young out but fails to find Sun-Young’s daughter, who is hiding in a closet. Dong-Su then sends a message to Sun-Young, instructing her to follow his orders and keep it a secret.
