Gifted culinary artist Mandy Preston has seen her world unravel following the death of her father, the esteemed head chef of their renowned family eatery. The restaurant is now struggling, her romantic life is in disarray, her enthusiasm for cooking has waned, and her lifelong friend and fellow chef, Jake Turner, has moved to the metropolis in search of employment.
