Portland-based interior designer Julia Galvins, played by Jana Kramer, decides to adopt a dog and turns to the charming and skilled dog trainer Owen Michaels, portrayed by Kevin McGarry, for assistance. When Julia lands a job to create a nursery and a “puppery,” along with organizing a puppy shower fundraiser for a client who is expecting, as well as her pregnant dog, she seeks Owen’s guidance. As they collaborate, their friendship has the potential to blossom into a deeper relationship.
