The narrative follows Skip, a young former convict who secures a job as a night janitor at a western-themed amusement park. Under the guidance of his supervisor, Archie, Skip learns the ins and outs of the job. More importantly, Archie imparts significant philosophical insights through four distinct tales: a struggling boxer is given a chance to transform into a formidable golden gloves fighter; an assassin abducts three individuals to uncover who commissioned his latest assignment; a newcomer is inducted into a society of fez-wearing businessmen where initiation rituals can take a sinister turn; and a member of a suicide club instills genuine terror in a man poised to end his life.
