Rosalía works as a cashier at a grocery store and leads a solitary life. She has a passion for reading fairy tales and often escapes into a magical fantasy realm to cope with the challenges of reality. She believes she is a fairy on a mission who has become trapped in this world. Her daily routine includes taking the bus, and at the bus stop, a “web camera” captures images and uploads them to the Internet. Santiago, a scientist involved in an international project searching for extraterrestrial intelligence, is also a solitary figure, living with his dog and computer. Rosalía discovers she possesses some psychic abilities and believes that three young women she knows are actually fairies, who will have a significant impact on her life. Additionally, she feels a strong desire to reconnect with her father, whom she hasn’t seen since she was eight years old.
