In 1997, Luz Cuevas experienced the devastating disappearance of her infant daughter, Delimar, following a house fire that erupted during a party. Authorities concluded that Delimar perished in the blaze, but Cuevas harbored suspicions that her daughter had been abducted and that the fire was deliberately set by an outsider. Fast forward six years, Cuevas encounters Valerie Valleja, the former spouse of one of Pedro’s cousins who had attended the same party. Valerie is accompanied by a six-year-old girl named Aaliyah, who strikingly resembles Cuevas.
