After being administered a serum sourced from an extraterrestrial spacecraft, a laboratory gorilla breaks free from captivity and forms a bond with two young boys. The alien serum causes the gorilla to expand to an enormous size, leading to chaos in the city. The boys must devise a plan to rescue their primate companion before the military intervenes to stop him.
