In Los Angeles, a series of murders has left detectives on the trail of Barbara, the business manager of a thriving architectural firm she co-owns with her husband, Lance. The victims, all former interns at the firm, were romantically involved with Barbara, who kept them in a sophisticated apartment under the watchful eye of Lance via closed-circuit television.
