Ray Pelletier is looking forward to a peaceful weekend of ice fishing with his family. Unfortunately, his plans are disrupted by the unwelcome arrival of Steve Cote and his son, Stevie Jr., a bothersome pair from the city. Despite their initial conflicts, the two families must put aside their disagreements and join forces when a terrifying creature emerges from the icy depths of the secluded lake where they are staying.
