Following the success of “Septic Man” and “Ejecta,” the genre-focused studio Foresight Features, along with “Pontypool” writer Tony Burgess, have released the trailer for their third and most ambitious project yet, the horror-fantasy homage, “HELLMOUTH.” This visually stunning film, reminiscent of the styles of F.W. Murnau and Tim Burton, is directed by John Geddes (“Exit Humanity”) and serves as a tribute to a bygone era of cinema. Esteemed actor Stephen McHattie, known for his roles in over 200 films, returns to the screen, playing dual roles, including the protagonist—a dying gravekeeper who must journey through Hell to rescue the soul of a beautiful woman, portrayed by Siobhan Giles Murphy. Filled with gothic cemeteries and monstrous chaos, “HELLMOUTH” is based on an original script by the award-winning punk poet Tony Burgess. The film also features performances by Julian Richings (“Supernatural”), Bruce McDonald (“Hardcore Logo”), Boyd Banks (“Dawn of the Dead”), and Ari Millen (“Orphan Black”).
