Ooejo Agricultural High School, situated in Hokkaido, primarily enrolls students from farming backgrounds, with most aspiring to continue in the agricultural field. In contrast, Yuugo (played by Kento Nakajima), a graduate of a prestigious middle school, chose to attend Ooejo solely because it offers dormitory accommodations. Coming from an urban upbringing, Yuugo finds himself in a new and unfamiliar setting, surrounded by nature and animals at Ooejo Agricultural High School. Unlike his peers, Yuugo is uncertain about his future career path, which makes him restless. Despite facing daily challenges, he gradually connects with his fellow students and learns about rural life, leading to personal growth.
