Tony, a young criminal, is planning a bank heist with her boyfriend Juanjo and their small-time accomplices, Maxi and Moco. Just before the crime, Juanjo tells Tony that his sister, who is a prostitute, wants him to take her daughter, Laura, to see her father, a flamenco singer in the coastal town of Tarifa, Spain. Juanjo convinces the initially hesitant Tony that having Laura with them will be the perfect disguise after they take the robbery proceeds from their partners. Although the heist goes smoothly, Juanjo betrays them by running off with the money, leaving Tony and Laura on the run from both the authorities and the furious Maxi and Moco.
