In a U.S. hospital, a young doctor gives a coma patient a potent and experimental mix of drugs. Rather than healing him, this concoction induces a strong “out-of-body” experience, allowing the patient—a sinister and isolated individual—to possess the bodies of others. Through these possessions, he seeks vengeance on the medical students whose inadvertent actions led to his current state.
